Smores are one of my all time favorite treats. I have always wanted to make a smore cupcake, but I was never really sure of the best course of action. At first, I thought that making a chocolate cupcake, putting on some marshmallow frosting & adding on a few graham cracker crumbles would do the trick. But the more & more I searched around the Internet, I found out that everyone was doing that kind of thing. So, after a few experimentations, I finally perfected my smore cupcake. The cupcake has a graham cracker crust on the bottom & a chocolate cake center. Mixed into the chocolate cake are graham cracker pieces and chunks of chocolate. I decided to add in the chocolate chunks to simulate the melted chocolate you get with a regular smore. Finally the whole thing is topped off with a toasted marshmallow frosting. And from all the reviews that I have gotten so far, it is a complete success.
