Ben's birthday brought on some new and fun challenges for me. His mom wanted a unique dessert for his birthday. She then came up with the idea of "Burgers & Fries". At first, I was a little lost on how I was going to do it, but I remebered that I had seen it done before on a website. So drawing inspiration for my favorite food blogger Bakerella, I present my interpretation of "Burger & Fries" in cupcake. Burgers are made from Vanilla & Chocolate cupcakes. The condiments are vanilla frosting. The French fries are pound cake & the ketchup cup is a mini vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting. The vanilla cupcake for the bun and the french fries were put under the broiler to give it that toasted look.
